The remote would not work over 6-10 feet.Customer service mailed me a replacement that day.All is fine.
I see cheaper products out there but this seemed to be a little higher quality, so for a few bucks I went with the Skylink. As soon as you finish the return paperwork they ship you a replacement , so it was back in 2 days.
I ordered 2 and they arrived promptly as Amazon always gets it right. I ordered this to turn on and off Heat tape on the roof of my house to melt the snow.
Amazon even paid the return shipping. However, one worked and the other did not.
I went online and filled out the claim and printed the label for return. Now everything works great.

This handles the electric fireplace that I had while another could not stand the heat and melted. This does the job great.
Bought this to turn on outside lights. Worked well till the weather became colder. Then would only work occasionally.I use it indoors now and does what it's supposed to.Disapointed that it wouldn't work in the cold (says it works great for Xmas lights) but for the price what can you expect.
just stuck on. Don't buy this. Mine was defective from the start. will not turn off with remote. I am returning it for refund and going with another.
